Tricycle

Matt taught Maddie to ride her tricycle this evening. She is really excited about going forward and backwards. She went in the mud a little but was not upset. Here is a quick video.

Mommy in Training

As most of you know Maddie has been playing in her room during her nap time. I am not upset b/c she doesn't cry she just entertains herself. Today I went in to check on her and she had made a pallet on the floor for her doll bunny and bunnies baby. She is too funny and preparing her mommy skills.

Baking Cookies

Maddie is really enjoying helping out in the kitchen these days. She loves to help stir and wash dishes. She made her first batch of cookies last week and had a blast. Nana Joyce helped her ice and decorate them. Here are a few pictures.

Last Day of School

Today was Maddie's last day of Mother's Day out! I cannot believe how fast the school year went. Here are pictures of her from this morning.

What is to come!

I have been getting a little nervous about the new baby coming and all that it will mean for our family. Maddie was less then pleased when I held a baby at playgroup yesterday. She actually laid on the floor and started screaming and crying:) After we all stopped giggling to ourselves one of the other moms distracted her and she was fine. But holding this 2 week old baby for a a bit reminded of how tiny Maddie was when she was born and all the fun and craziness we have had over the past 2 years. I started looking at her baby pictures and thought I would share a few. I am feeling much better about the baby coming and how Maddie will react. The only thing we need now is a name for the new baby and we are open for suggestions!
