Favorite Novmeber/ Thanksgiving Moments of 2009

Maddie was known as "Floating Rain" at school for the month and loved talking about Feasts and Pil'grahms'. She made a cool vest, necklace and head band!

Lil really started talking and saying a ton of words like Snack, Nana, Papa, chip, juice, milk, etc.

Lil fed Carson from her highchair to his! Too Cute!

I was able to spend a lot of time with my nephew and the rest of the family too:)

Maddie received an award at the end of her soccer season for being the best at kicking off!

Lil has 5+ new teeth coming in!

Maddie asked to say grace on her own at Thanksgiving!

Family Bike Ride

We were blessed enough to have Lauryn with us for a few days and we took the girls on a walk/bike ride down the trail. It was such a beautiful day and a great reminder that we are to live in such a beautiful city and neighborhood!

Donut Eating Contest

At the playgroup Halloween Party Corina had a Donut Eating Contest and of Course Maddie wanted to do it! It was pretty funny!

Maddie and Lil had a blast on Halloween! Maddie chose to be Dora again! So we invested in the same costume just a bigger size! Lil was a ballerina who didn't want to wear any of the 1o tutus we have:(

We had great friends come over and in spite of Lil getting sick and spending the afternoon at Urgent Care all was good. Maddie had no trouble running up to the doors and asking for candy. If they didn't answer the door she would look in the windows! Crazy Girl! Lil picked up fast and starting trick or treating herself! It was lots of fun!

Tonight Maddie was saying her prayers and she thanked God for the world and for Halloween (to young to explain). She was saying "trick or treat" and I jokingly said "Trick or Treat, Smell my Feet" she fell over laughing and said it for another 10 minutes. My stomach hurt we laughed so hard. Wow! her laugh makes my bucket overflow. I thanked God for her!!!!

So Maddie may get her idea of sports from me. Sad to say but true. Last week at the soccer game Maddie was doing yoga on the field. Yes yoga, she was not interested in kicking the ball she would just stand there and dance or do yoga:)
