Soccer

Maddie had her first soccer practice this week. She really liked it! She likes to pick up the ball and we are working on using our feet instead:) Here are the pictures!

Lillian's First Day of School

Lil did great! She didn't cry and walked right into her class. I hope she does well today! She usually naps around lunch time and I don't pick her up until 1 so hopefully she will not be sleeping in the corner when i get there:)

Maddie's First Day of School

Maddie had a good first day of school! She likes her teacher and was excited to go. I hope this continues for Lil tomorrow:)

Vacation Photos

Hilton Head

Home from Vacation

We made it home from vacation safely! I will hopefully get the pictures uploaded soon! but here are some of the highlights!

• Were able to walk around City Market in downtown Savannah
• We could see the pool and the ocean from our balcony
• We had great weather for the days we were at the beach
• Built sand castles, played in the waves, collected sea shells
  
• Had a blast at The Sandbox an interactive children's museum on Hilton Head Island (Maddie loved being a vet, playing with tools, and driving the space ship) (Lil loved climbing in and out of everything and throwing the tea set on the floor:))
  
• Were able to see old friends and tour the open air market in Charleston
• Visited the Aquarium in Charleston
• Maddie could touch in the pool
• Had great family time!

We fell very blessed to have had only minor hiccups in our trip and hope we can do it again soon!

Visiting Mawmaw

We took the girls to visit Maw Maw in her new home and the girls had fun. They have a beautiful fish tank, bird aviary and there were two men playing music on Saturday! Here are a few pictures.

Lillian Update

Lillie is a handful! She is into everything and especially climbing on things. She loves to climb on chairs and stand up! Crazy girl. She can climb the stairs and almost climb onto the couch. you cannot turn your back on her b/c she will be standing on something. She has discovered that the snacks live in the pantry and I find her in there all day pointing at things that she wants. She can say mama, dada, Dora, ball, no! She has a mind of her own and when she doesn't want something she will let you know and throw it at you. She can hold her own with bigger kids and doesn't take anything from Maddie;) She loves the pool but more importantly getting in and out of the pool. I tried to introduce her to markers for toddlers and it started well until i turned my back and she tried to eat the blue one! Yuck! Check out her blue mouth!

Maddie Update

Maddie has a great imagination! Lately she likes being the mom, a bride, a hostess and Dora. She loves to put on Dora shows and walk down the isle to get married. We had a tea party the other day while Lil was napping and she was adorable setting it up and putting bunny in her place:) She has started swimming under water without any help but I still make her wear her vest when I am alone with her at the pool just in case. She has really enjoyed having Lauryn here and I know she will be really sad when she goes home:(
